The Nefertiti lift
A new technique which involves placing a number of anti-wrinkle injections along the lower jaw line and the sides of the neck in order to relax the muscles that pull down the neck and create the jowls. The result is improvement of the definition of the jawline, elimination of the appearance of jowls and lifting of the neck and jaw area.
This is a technique that is used to slim the jawline. Anti-wrinkle injections are placed into the chewing muscle of the jaw (also known as masseter) in order to reduce its size and soften a square masculine look. This technique is also used as a treatment for bruxism (teeth grinding).
Chemical brow lift
This treatment is ideal for women with hooded eyelids and heavy eyebrows. It aims to create a feminine arched eyebrow by injecting a small amount of anti-wrinkle just beneath the tail of the eyebrow.
Correction of bunny lines
This treatment aims to soften the wrinkles on either side of the nose which develop when laughing, sneezing or squinting. A small amount of anti-wrinkle is injected into each side of the nose.
Correction of gummy smile
Gummy smile is when the upper lip raises too much when smiling and thus exposing gums and producing an unattractive smile. This can be corrected by injecting a small amount into the muscle that is responsible for this phenomenon and which is located at the base of the nose.
Reduction of smoker's lines
Smoker's lines are fine wrinkles that develop around the lips from the repetitive action of perioral muscles when pursing the lips. They can be softened by injecting and relaxing the ring-like muscle (Orbicularis Oris) that surrounds the lips.
Lifting downturned corners of the mouth
A small injection into the muscle that pulls the corners of the mouth downwards (Depressor Angularis Oris), can help lift the corners up by allowing the elevator muscles to take over. This can help eliminate a sad appearance and produce a more positive image.
Correction of pebbled/dimpled chin
This is achieved by directly injecting the muscle which is responsible for the wrinkling of the chin (Mentalis muscle).
Forehead wrinkle treatment
Forehead lines can be eliminated by placing tiny injections into the frontal muscle which is the muscle responsible for raising the eyebrows and wrinkling the forehead.
Glabellar lines treatment
The area between the eyebrows is commonly referred to as "the glabella". Vertical lines in the glabella are caused by the contraction of three distinct muscles which bring the eyebrows down when frowning. Treating these muscles with anti-wrinkle injections, can help smoothen the lines in the glabella. This treatment can also help raise the position of the eyebrows by allowing the unopposed action of the elevator muscle (frontalis).
Crow's feet treatment
Crow's feet i.e. wrinkles around the eyes, can be treated by placing small injections into the Orbicularis Oculi muscle, which is the muscle that causes the wrinkling in the corners of the eyes.
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to treat excessive sweating of the armpits, hands and feet. Small doses are injected into the skin blocking the nerve supply to the sweat glands and thus preventing them from producing sweat.
